- In a kadhai boil water. Add salt and turmeric powder. Add chopped banana flower heart and boil for 10 minutes.
- Decant the boiled water from chopped banana heart
- In a kadhai heat 2 tbsp oil. Add and allow to splutter mustard seeds. Add red chili, urad dal, chana dal and curry leaves. Fry on low flame.
- Mix chopped onion, chopped green chili minced garlic and grated ginger and fry till onions are translucent.
- Then add the boiled banana flower heart, chopped tomato and salt and coconut. Cover and cook until everything is well cooked. (nearly 10 to 12 minutes).
